Micro Business of the Year

Multi-award winning eco-tourism operator, Out of Sight Tours has added another collection of awards to its growing pile of accolades. At the annual Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) Business Awards held on 30 March 2012, Out of Sight took home the “Wignalls Wines Award for Micro Businesses with fewer than 5 employees”. The award recognises excellence in business achievement over the previous 12 month period. Out of Sight was also announced as runner-up in the Tourism Category behind another Denmark business – The Lake House.

Out of Sight Tours co-owner, Lenore Lyons, said that the award was a fabulous achievement on their first attempt at the ACCI Awards. The award was testament to the hard work that Dr Dave and the Out of Sight team had put in since opening the business 5 years ago. “We are growing from strength to strength”, she said, “and are looking forward to another great year of adventure in Denmark’s spectacular Wilderness Edge”.
